META Releases NFT Display for Users of Facebook and Instagram

After a successful May debut with a small group of users, Meta now offers NFT display choices for American Facebook users and international Instagram users.

All US-based Facebook and Instagram users will be able to connect their NFT wallets and show collectibles on their accounts, according to a recent official release from Meta. As a result, NFTs can be cross-posted alongside graphics, posts, and stories.

Along with American users, the service is also accessible to users from the additional 100 nations where NFTs are offered by Instagram. Africa, the Middle East, North and South America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East are a few areas where the NFT function is accessible.

More information about their NFTs, including the title, inventor, collection, and price, is also provided via this function to users. The users can boast to their pals and “flex” their NFTs.

Bored Ape’s Yuga Labs Becomes the subject of an SEC investigation

According to a Bloomberg report, Yuga Labs is under scrutiny from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the United States regarding the validity of the sales of its high-value NFT products.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection is what Yuga Labs is best known for in the NFT industry. Thanks to the collection’s success, Yuga Labs has expanded its media empire to include endorsements from prestigious sports leagues, high-end brands, and even a game that is ready for the metaverse.

There is no evidence that Yuga Labs has committed any wrongdoing that has prompted this investigation. Instead, as a Yuga Labs spokeswoman stated in the Bloomberg piece, it should help politicians and regulators “learn more about the innovative realm of Web3.”

Seattle Entrepreneur is Turning Rejection Letters into NFTs

Making the most of the rejections is a recurring piece of advice offered to those in the entrepreneurial community. Rebekah Bastian, a businesswoman from Seattle, appears to have taken this advice to heart.

Bastian published an NFT collection on October 12, 2022, that was composed only of rejection letters that startup founders had received.

We’ve all seen the internet-circulating images of successful people’s initial rejection letters and communications. This resembles Bastian’s collection in appearance. The names of the entrepreneurs and their businesses are blurred out but are revealed when the NFTs are purchased.

The entrepreneurs who received these letters gave their consent, and they also got to decide how much to charge for the assets. All earnings will be handed to the founders who submitted their letters, with prices ranging from .05 to.5 ETH.

This, according to Bastian, is a part of the ‘Authentech’ movement, where people speak openly about their lives and the challenges they have encountered.
